Edwards Street | Independence, CA 93526 Page 2 of 6 11) Appointment of Independence Cemetery District Board Member Clerk of the Board | Assistant Clerk of the Board Recommended Action: Appoint Karen Roberts to the Independence Cemetery District Board of Trustees, to a four-year term ending January 31, 2030. 12) Request for Inyo Fish and Game Fine Fund Money to Support Efforts Related to Golden Mussel Infestation Prevention Clerk of the Board | Assistant Clerk of the Board Recommended Action: Approve the request from the Inyo Fish and Wildlife Commission to provide Sierra Forever/ with $3,000 in funding from the Inyo Fish and Game Fine Fund to support efforts to prevent infestation of the golden mussel in Eastern Sierra waters. 13) Updates to Administrative Procedure and Policy Manual for the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Program County Administrator - Risk Management | Aaron Holmberg Recommended Action: Acknowledge and approve the update to the County's policy and procedures for the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program. 14) Agreement with California Department of Housing and Community Development for Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention Program Round 6 Funding Health & Human Services | Anna Scott Recommended Action: Approve agreement number 25-HHAP-10018 between the County of Inyo and the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for the provision of Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention Program Round 6 (HHAP 6) in an amount not to exceed $250,138.19 for the period commencing upon HCD approval of agreement through June 30, 2030, contingent upon approval of future budgets, and authorize the Chairperson to sign the standard agreement. 15) United States Geological Survey Joint Funding Agreement Planning Department | Cathreen Richards Recommended Action: Approve the Joint Funding Agreement (JFA) with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) for wells and springs monitoring in the Amargosa Desert in the amount of $8,000 for the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027 and authorize the Chairperson to sign.
